PEDAGOGY
Her musical career also extends to the pedagogical field, being invited as a guest teacher for bachelor and master students in renowned international institutions, such as Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden, The Mahidol University Conservatory in Bangkok, Thailand, Princess Galyani Royal Institute of Music, Breitner Academy (University Pedagogy in the Arts in the Netherlands ), or the Conservatorio Superior Nacional de Música de Puerto Rico.

In addition to her soloist studies and career Aina pursued a specialization in chamber music (under the guidance of Vineta Sareika concertmaster Berliner Philharmonie) and she also graduated post-master in Karnatic Rhythms, specializing in methods to understand and work with complex rhythmical precision.

Some extra tools that she kept developing through the years and became essential to her pedagogy in the search of the excellence of the student.

ART OF PERFORMANCE
Aina is also a member of Moving Strings, a collective of reference with an educational approach. They developed exercises and methods that help artist incorporate movement as an artistic tool into their daily practice. They bring in mindfulness and the Laban Bartenieff Movement System into the realm of performer-making to help to find freedom on stage and a better connection to their body and instrument. From very high-pressure classical music auditions to avantgarde performances.

With them Aina has been tutoring, giving masterclasses workshops and presentations at: Luxembourg University, Interview for Master students at Hochschule für Musik Basel FHNW, ESTA (European String Teacher Association), Movement workshop at Mahidol University Bangkok, Codarts University of the Arts (Rotterdam), Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag (in The Hague), Amsterdam Dance and Theater Academy, Fontys School of Fine and Performing Arts University Tilburg, Rietveld Academy Amsterdam, Workshops at Gaudeamus Festival (Utrecht).

MENTORSHIP
In addition to being a successful musician and knowing the pedagogy of the instrument, being a mentor is more than that.

She has been working as representative of Conservatorium Van Amsterdam in Amsterdam University of the Arts Diversity and Inclusion (july 2022 – november 2024)

During this period, Aina performed duties including but not limited to: reviewing the pedagogical programs in the classical and contemporary department of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Analysing and studying the dynamics between teachers and students and offering feedback to the teachers itself organising masterclass, giving workshops (circles), Opening conversations and reporting them about students with different backgrounds or social positions, their role in the institutions and how to improve equality in the University.

Connecting all the art schools in projects like “akh-wrap up” being member of the jury and coaching the students for collaborations between the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, Netherlands Film Academy, Academy of Theatre and Dance, Reinwardt Academy, Academy of Architecture and Breitner Academy.
